Vector Code 128 · physical sizes in millimeters
Print the calibration page on plain paper at 100% / Actual size. Measure the marked reference line (50 mm on standard sheets), then hold it against your label stock.
A spreadsheet in. A label sheet out.
Create shelf and product labels without sending your inventory to a server. LabelForge encodes your existing SKU as Code 128; it does not assign retail UPC or EAN numbers.
- Import and review. Include a header row. Keep barcode values as text to preserve leading zeros.
- Match your label stock. Pick a paper layout or set the dimensions, margins and gaps printed on your packaging.
- Check, download, print. Test the calibration page, download your PDF, then print at actual size. Test a label with your scanner before printing a full batch.

What barcode types are supported?
Code 128 with printable ASCII letters, digits and symbols. Use your existing inventory codes. This tool does not create GS1 identifiers, UPC / EAN retail barcodes or QR codes.
Does it work with Excel and leading zeros?
Yes: import .xlsx (the first worksheet) or CSV, or paste rows. Format your SKU cells as text before entering them. A numeric Excel cell such as 00123 may already have become 123; the original zeros cannot be recovered. Legacy .xls files are not supported.
Are my files uploaded?
No. File parsing, barcode creation and PDF generation run in your browser. We record anonymous action names, such as “pdf_export”, for product usage; file content and barcode values are not sent. See Privacy.
Why can a valid code be too dense to print?
Longer codes need more bars. LabelForge reserves quiet zones and requires at least 0.25 mm per narrow module. Choose a wider label or a shorter value. Printer quality and scanner settings still affect readability.
How much can I generate?
Up to 5,000 product rows or 5,000 total labels per export, with 1–100 copies per row. Input files are limited to 5 MB. PDFs are generated locally; large jobs and multilingual font loading can take longer.
